Vague Hague…

William Hague, has not taken to his post as foreign secretary at all since the coalition was formed; these past few weeks with the uprisings in the east, have not helped much either and have proved him to be just as incompetent as the rest of the coalition.

Waugh writes of Hague the vague, which he certainly is and has been, the botched attempt at the supposed reach out to the opposition to Gaddafi, in the middle of the night, bearing weapons etc. unannounced, exemplifies just what type of foreign secretary Hague is, like Cameron jumping to conclusions, and too fast to take action (or make announcements) without thinking through what the consequences will be.

A ‘friend’ of William Hague says he is most likely to quit before the next GE, lets hope so, his resignation cannot come soon enough, the embarassment his office has caused over the past month is unforgivable, and if it continues, the people of  Britain will no doubt lament the fact that the country has become a laughing stock.

If  Hague is to go about his occupation in this manner, his obfuscation in Parliament, his appeasing of EU directives and his disregard for the public, he has ” sat too long for any good you have been doing lately … Depart, I say; and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!”
